The fact is that they’ll have to cap some wells regardless. It takes multiple weeks to get any empty tankers to Iran to fill up. Basically, one of those decommissioned tankers can only store about ONE day of oil being pumped. If they only got 10-20 days of storage, the math of logistics says it’s too late already.
